We live local!

The Olympic Peninsula of Washington State is a place many artists call home. Among the musicians, sculptors, painters and woodworkers are those who are passionate about creating beauty via fabric and design.  Creative Union Fabrics endeavors to provide these artists with all they might require-- a wide array of well selected fabrics, notions and other accoutrements.

We also offer classes and educate. Our occasional workshops which happen once or twice yearly teach foundational sewing skills and techniques, and often pair generations in a fun and productive way.

Creative Union was started in 2009, but in fact had begun long before. It's founder, a lifelong seamstress, whose first outfit was for her first day of school of age 11, had always enjoyed sewing and appreciated the self sufficiency it provided. Her artful and meticulous ways led to a successful career in architecture. Later, she decided to return to her first love of fabric while enjoying life in Washington's scenic Olympic Peninsula.

Creative Union Fabrics is located in Kala Square, about six miles outside of historic Port Townsend. We are here to serve the nearby and faraway artisan sewing communities with a friendly shopping environment and the best of fabrics and supplies.

Creative Union Fabrics is open Mondays, 12 - 5, Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 - 5, and closed on Sundays.
